The OUT95 has a tremendous performance advantage over its contemporaries, upwind it is between 22 to 34% faster than a Mumm 30 with speeds of up to 10 knots and downwind 57 to 81% faster with over 25 knots predicted. In light winds the OUT95 still won’t stand still easily achieving speeds over twice that of the wind!

The OUT95 has a low wetted surface area narrow entry low resistance hull form with a lifting fin and bulb keel and cassette rudder. The rig takes advantage of the wide staying base with a stayed rotating wing mast. It has low sheet loads with a fully battened square top mainsail, small headsails and an asymmetric spinnaker.

The boat is a very flexible all round racing machine, very manoeuvrable, fast in a straight line and accelerates quickly for every degree off the wind.
