Round the Island Race, Isle of Wight, UK
This 50.2nm race around the Isle of Wight is
one of
the biggest yacht races in the world, with well over 1,000 entries each
year and over 10,000 people participating.

Geneve - Rolle - Geneve, Switzerland
More than 200 boats take part in the traditional warm-up for the Bol
d’Or the following weekend. Raced in the Petit Lac of the Lac Leman
nearest Geneva.

This 80nm race starts from the heart of the city and with over 600
entries, 3,000 people, it is the largest race on a closed body of water
in the world. There is live radio coverage as well as extensive
television and press interest.

Kekszalag, Lake Balaton, Hungary
’The Blue Ribbon’ the oldest lake race in Europe with 400 entries
competing over the 110Nm course on one of the Continents biggest
stretches of water.

The highlight of the city’s sailing festival. 1800 boats compete in

This event formally known as La Nioulargue is the traditional curtain

include a Modern IRC class, a Classic boat class and a Spirit of
